Terms of Service

The service

Listahan helps your household organize its lists, calendar, events, tasks, reminders, and supplies — and plan, shop for, and cook meals. To use the app you need an account. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for the accuracy of the household and allergen information you enter. You must be 18 or older to create an account.

Allergen safety — important

Listahan's allergen checks are automated guidance designed to help you plan safer meals. They are not a medical service and they are not a guarantee. The checks are only as accurate as the information you enter, and product formulations can change. Always read product labels yourself. Never rely on Listahan alone for a severe or life-threatening allergy. This is not medical advice.

Pet care — not veterinary advice

Listahan's Pets area helps you coordinate feeding, vet visits, grooming, and supplies. It is for coordination and memory only — it never issues a health or nutrition verdict on a food or product for your pet, and nothing in it is veterinary advice. Always consult your veterinarian for your pet's health, diet, and medication decisions.

Subscriptions

Listahan Pro is our single subscription tier, available at $5 per month or $40 per year, with a 14-day free trial once you start a Pro trial. Through October 1, 2026, new subscribers can also lock in the Founding Member annual price of $30/year for as long as they stay subscribed. Billing is handled by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android) through RevenueCat. Trials and renewals follow those stores' rules:

  • Trials Begin when you start a Pro trial from the app — not when you download it — and require a payment method on file. The Free tier itself needs no trial and no card. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged.
  • Renewals Auto-renew on the same date each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before.
  • Cancellation Cancel at any time in your Apple ID or Google account subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds Handled by Apple or Google. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com for iOS refund requests.

Your household data is yours. It is exportable and deletable at any time, regardless of subscription status.

The Free tier is scoped to one signed-in device per household. Pro extends that to multiple devices (up to six) sharing the same household.

Acceptable use

Use Listahan for your own household meal planning. Do not attempt to reverse engineer, overload, or circumvent the service's security or rate limits. Do not use Listahan to harm others or to submit false allergen or safety data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, with or without notice.

Intellectual property

Listahan's app, design, curated recipe content, and AI systems are our property. The recipes, plans, and shopping lists you create are yours. We do not claim ownership over content you enter. By using the app you grant us a limited licence to process your content for the sole purpose of providing the service to you.

No warranty; limited liability

Listahan is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we cannot guarantee uptime or that it will meet every need. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before any claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The final published terms will include our registered legal entity and a full jurisdiction clause.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product grows. We will post the updated effective date here, and for material changes we will notify you in-app. Continuing to use Listahan after an update means you accept the revised terms.
