Why we built Listahan

Listahan started as one parent's frustration. Planning meals for a family with multiple food allergies, while tracking three kids' school lunch rules and a tight grocery budget, meant juggling spreadsheets, sticky notes, and a lot of last-minute scrambles in the grocery aisle.

The app we built is the one we wished existed: one that knows your family's allergens, suggests safe meal plans, tracks what's actually in your kitchen, and tells you what things cost before you drive to the store.

"Listahan" is a Filipino word for "list" — fitting for an app built around the most underrated household productivity tool of all time.
