Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire baking rack on top to allow the bacon grease to drip away.

In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.

Using a small spoon, fill each jalapeño half generously with the cream cheese mixture, smoothing the top.

Take a half-slice of bacon and wrap it tightly around the center of each stuffed jalapeño. Secure with a toothpick if necessary.

Place the wrapped jalapeños filling-side up on the wire rack.

Bake for 20-25 minutes until the jalapeños are tender and the bacon is crispy. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving (the cheese will be extremely hot!).
