In a medium bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar vigorously until the mixture becomes pale and light.

Slowly stream in the melted, cooled butter and the milk while whisking continuously. Add the cardamom.

Gently fold in the all-purpose flour until a smooth, thin batter forms. Let the batter rest for 15 minutes.

Heat a Krumkake iron on the stove over medium heat (or use an electric iron). Lightly grease it with butter for the first cookie.

Spoon about 1 tablespoon of batter into the center of the iron. Close the lid tightly and cook for 30-45 seconds per side until lightly golden with a crisp, embossed pattern.

Immediately remove the hot cookie with a spatula and rapidly roll it around a wooden Krumkake cone before it cools and hardens. Slide it off and cool on a wire rack.
