Steak and Ale Meat Marinade

A quick savory-sweet soy and wine marinade that gives grilled or pan-fried steak deep, restaurant-style flavor.

Instructions

    In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, white wine, red wine vinegar, sugar, and garlic powder until the sugar has dissolved.

    Pour the marinade over the steak of your choice in a dish or resealable bag, turning to coat. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour and up to 24 hours.

    Remove the steak from the marinade and grill, or pan-fry in a hot skillet with a little butter, until cooked to your desired doneness. Let rest a few minutes before slicing and serving.
