    Combine the chili powder, paprika, cumin, onion powder, and cayenne pepper in a jar with a tight-fitting lid.

    Seal the jar and shake well until the spices are evenly blended.

    Store in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months. The blend makes about 1/2 cup; use roughly 7 teaspoons in place of one 1.25 oz packet of store-bought taco seasoning.
