Seven Layer Magic Bars

Gooey layered bars of graham crust, chocolate chips, and coconut bound with sweetened condensed milk.

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C), or 325°F if using a glass dish, and line a 13x9-inch baking pan with foil.

    Pour the melted butter into the pan, then sprinkle the graham cracker crumbs evenly over the butter and press into a firm crust.

    Scatter the chocolate chips evenly over the crust, then sprinkle the flaked coconut over the top.

    Drizzle the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the entire surface, covering the layers as completely as possible.

    Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until the top is lightly golden and the edges are set. Let cool completely in the pan.

    Lift the bars out by the foil, cut into individual squares, and peel them off the foil to serve.
