Instructions
- 1
Slice each dinner roll horizontally about 1/2 inch from the bottom. Pull out some bread from the top half, leaving walls about 1/2 inch thick.
- 2
Place cucumber or radish slices over the bottom halves of the rolls, sticking out slightly to make mouths or tongues.
- 3
Spoon a mound of tuna or salmon salad filling on top of each bottom half, then cover with the top halves of the rolls.
- 4
Insert carrot and celery sticks into the filling around the sides to make legs.
- 5
Make two slits on each side of the top half of each bun and tuck in lettuce leaves to form wings.
- 6
Decorate with raisins and small vegetable pieces for eyes, antennae, and other body parts, attaching them with a dab of mayonnaise. Serve right away.
