Caesar Salad

Romaine lettuce and croutons dressed with parmesan cheese and Caesar dressing.

Instructions

    Wash and thoroughly dry the romaine lettuce leaves, tearing them into bite-sized, 2-inch pieces. Place them in a large wooden or chilled salad bowl.

    Drizzle the Caesar dressing over the lettuce. Using salad tongs, gently toss until every leaf is lightly but evenly coated.

    Squeeze the fresh lemon juice over the dressed greens to brighten the flavor.

    Add the garlic croutons and half of the grated Parmigiano-Reggiano, tossing once more to distribute.

    Serve immediately on chilled plates, garnished with the remaining cheese and a generous dusting of freshly cracked black pepper.
