Tofu Stir-Fry

Quick and healthy stir-fry with crispy tofu.

Instructions

    Prep Tofu: Ensure the tofu is well-pressed to remove excess moisture. Cut into 1-inch cubes.

    Pan-Fry Tofu: Heat 1 tbsp cooking oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add tofu cubes in a single layer and pan-fry for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until all sides are golden brown and crispy. Remove tofu and set aside.

    Stir-Fry Veggies: In the same pan, add the broccoli and red bell pepper. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.

    Make Sauce: Whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, maple syrup, and the cornstarch slurry in a small bowl.

    Combine and Thicken: Return the tofu to the pan. Pour the sauce over the tofu and veggies. Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens and coats everything evenly. Serve over rice.
