Orange Blossom Muffins

    Preheat the oven to 400°F (205°C) and grease a 12-cup muffin pan or line it with paper baking cups.

    In a large bowl, combine the egg, vegetable oil, 1/4 cup sugar, and orange juice. Add the biscuit mix and beat vigorously for 30 seconds, then stir in the marmalade and pecans.

    Divide the batter among the muffin cups, filling each about two-thirds full.

    Make the topping: In a small bowl, combine the 1/2 cup sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg, then cut in the cold butter with a fork until crumbly. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the batter.
