Tenderize the conch: Clean the conch meat thoroughly and beat it with a meat mallet until tender, then chop it into very small pieces.

Prepare the batter: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually stir in the milk until a thick batter forms.
