Flake-and-Fruit Squares

No-bake cornflake squares packed with seeds, dates, and dried fruit bound in marshmallow.

Instructions

    Line a 9-inch square pan with foil and lightly grease the foil.

    In a large bowl, combine the cornflakes, sunflower seeds, almonds, sesame seeds, dates, and apricots.

    In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat, then stir in the marshmallows and heat until fully melted, stirring constantly. Stir in the vanilla.

    Pour the marshmallow mixture over the cornflake mixture and stir until well blended. Spoon into the prepared pan and pack down firmly.

    Refrigerate until set, about 1 hour. Remove from the pan, cut into 16 squares, and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
