    In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until cooked through. Drain excess fat.

    Add the minced onion, cumin, coriander, and black pepper to the beef. Sauté for 3 minutes until fragrant.

    Stir in the cooked lentils and mash slightly so the filling holds together. Let the mixture cool completely.

    Cut the spring roll wrappers into 3-inch wide strips. Fold one end of a strip over to form a triangle pocket.

    Stuff the pocket with 1 tablespoon of the cooled filling. Continue folding into a triangle, sealing the final edge with a paste made of flour and water.

    Heat 2 inches of oil in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry the sambusas in batches for 3-4 minutes until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
