Jalapeño Poppers

Jalapeños stuffed with cheese, breaded, and baked or fried until crisp and gooey.

Instructions

    Make the Filling: Mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and garlic powder.

    Stuff: Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.

    Bread: Coat each in flour, then beaten egg, then breadcrumbs (double-dip for a thicker crust).

    Chill: Chill for 10 minutes so they hold together.

    Cook: Fry in 180°C (360°F) oil for 2-3 minutes until golden, or bake at 200°C (400°F) for 18-20 minutes.
