    Lightly grease the inside of a large, microwave-safe mug with the teaspoon of butter.

    Spoon the diced canned peaches and the 1 tablespoon of reserved peach syrup into the bottom of the mug.

    In a separate small bowl, whisk together the dry pancake mix, milk, and ground cinnamon until it forms a thick, smooth batter.

    Carefully spoon the batter directly over the peaches in the mug, spreading it to cover the fruit completely.

    Microwave on high power for 1 minute and 30 seconds to 2 minutes, until the cake has risen and the top is springy to the touch.

    Let it cool for 1 minute (the peaches will be very hot!) before digging in with a spoon.
