Crispy Chicken Sandwich

A buttermilk-fried chicken breast on a toasted brioche bun with pickles — the fast-food favourite made at home.

Instructions

    Marinate: Soak the chicken fillets in the buttermilk whisked with the egg for at least 30 minutes.

    Season the Flour: Mix the flour with the paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

    Dredge: Lift each fillet from the buttermilk and press firmly into the seasoned flour to coat well.

    Fry: Fry in 180°C (360°F) oil for 4-5 minutes per side until deep golden and cooked through. Drain.

    Build: Spread mayonnaise on the toasted brioche buns and add pickle slices.
