Buying it
Check the bottom of the container for any juice staining or mold, which spreads quickly through a batch of raspberries, and avoid containers with visibly mushy or leaking berries.
Storing it
Keep them refrigerated, unwashed, and loosely covered, since trapped moisture speeds up mold. Rinse only right before eating and use them within about four days.
