    Mix the freshly grated coconut with a pinch of salt and steam for 10 minutes to prevent spoilage; set aside on a plate.

    In a bowl, combine the glutinous rice flour with pandan extract and enough warm water to form a smooth, pliable green dough.

    Pinch off a small piece of dough, flatten it, and place a chunk of chopped palm sugar in the center.

    Seal the dough around the sugar and roll it into a smooth ball, ensuring there are no cracks.

    Drop the balls into a pot of boiling water and cook until they float to the surface (about 3-4 minutes).

    Remove with a slotted spoon and immediately roll the hot balls in the steamed grated coconut until fully coated.
