Pat the shrimp completely dry with paper towels and season them with salt and black pepper.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and melt 1 tbsp of the butter over medium-high heat.

Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the bottoms turn pink.

Flip the shrimp and add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the pan. Cook for another 1 minute until fragrant and the shrimp are opaque throughout.

Reduce heat to low. Stir in the remaining 2 tbsp of butter and the fresh lemon juice, tossing the shrimp until the butter melts and creates a glossy sauce.
