In a large pitcher, combine the Jallab syrup and the ice-cold water. Stir vigorously until the thick syrup is completely dissolved.

Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness by adding more water or more syrup as desired. Stir in the optional extra rose water for a stronger floral aroma.

Fill four tall serving glasses halfway with crushed ice.

Pour the Jallab mixture over the crushed ice, filling the glasses almost to the top.

Top each glass generously with a tablespoon of golden raisins and a tablespoon of raw pine nuts.

Serve immediately with a long spoon so guests can scoop out and eat the hydrated nuts and raisins while they drink.
