Instructions

7 steps
  1. 1

Rinse the fresh lomi noodles briefly under running water to remove excess surface starch, then drain well.

  2. 2

Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat. Saute garlic and onion until fragrant, then add the pork and cook until lightly browned.

  3. 3

Add the chicken liver, shrimp, and fish balls; cook for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring gently, until the shrimp starts to turn pink.

  4. 4

Pour in the chicken broth and soy sauce. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 12 to 15 minutes until the pork is tender.

  5. 5

Add the drained lomi noodles, carrot, and cabbage. Simmer for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the noodles are tender.

  6. 6

Stir in the cornstarch slurry and simmer until the broth thickens slightly.

  7. 7

Slowly drizzle in the beaten eggs while stirring in one direction to form soft egg ribbons. Cook for 1 minute, then serve hot.
