Instructions

    Add the gin, Campari, and sweet vermouth to a mixing glass filled with the cup of ice cubes.

    Stir steadily with a bar spoon for 20 to 30 seconds until the outside of the glass frosts and the mixture is well chilled and lightly diluted.

    Place one large ice cube in a chilled rocks glass and strain the cocktail over it.

    Express the orange peel by pinching it skin-side down over the surface to release its oils, rub it around the rim, then drop it in to garnish and serve.
