Greek Salad (Horiatiki)

A refreshing traditional salad with feta cheese and olives.

Instructions

    Wash and prep all vegetables. Cut tomatoes into bite-sized wedges, slice the cucumber into half-moons, and thinly slice the red onion.

    In a large, shallow serving bowl, gently toss the tomatoes, cucumbers, and red onions together.

    Scatter the pitted Kalamata olives evenly over the vegetable mixture.

    In a small bowl, whisk together the extra virgin olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt, and black pepper to create the dressing. Drizzle this evenly over the salad.

    Place the block of feta cheese directly on top of the salad (do not crumble it into the salad).

    Sprinkle the dried oregano over the feta and the rest of the salad, and serve immediately.
